I had the great pleasure of recording the drum Parts for the Messiah's EP by the Rescue blues, a Stafford based original's indie band.

Matt asked me to come over to his home studio and lay down some drum parts for this and the track "Getting Even" and it was a fantastic experience to hang out with the band and be a part of the creation process.

I look forward to working with them again very soon on future projects.

Please Note I used the band's own equipment and recorded a midi file only so the finished sound will differ from a Drumbeat Session audio recording.

After a few years break between releasing music the Rescue Blues got back in touch as Matt and the band had written and produced a brand new EP called Disarm.
I was asked to create drum parts for each track which was great fun as the genres varied greatly from disco infused synth pop to reggae!

The band prefer to use Midi recording in their studio set up so I was more than happy to oblige and lay down the drum parts for them.

Just before Christmas i was introduced to Jim, a musician and songwriter from Stafford who needed some drum parts recording for his latest project with indie band "Proof"

He sent me over a few rough mixes of the songs and suggested a couple of ideas he would like me to try on the drums so I had a good listen to the material and we arranged an evening to lay down some drums at his home studio.

The first track "Shapes In The Margins" was a skiffle or train beat that we recorded using brushes which worked really well with the song.

The second track "Pull The Trigger" had a heavier Indie style and Jim asked for very minimal fills and more focus on building the groove throughout the track with increased power and drive as it progressed.

Both songs are currently being professionally mixed so watch this space for a finished version soon.
